Korean Greetings



So Now Let's start with some frequently used Greeting



1- Hello : 안녕하세요 ( annyeonghaseyo )

It can also be said as 안녕 ( annyeong ) which is the casual form of hello




2- Good-Bye : 안녕히가세요 ( annyeonghi gaseyo ) - if you are staying and the other person is leaving

- 안녕히 계세요 ( annyeonghi gyeseyo) - if you are leaving and the other person is staying

the casual forms are : 잘가 ( jalga ) - if the other person is leaving

- 잘있어 (jalisso) - if you are leaving and the other person is staying

3- Good Morning : 좋은 아침 ( joh-eun achim ) and for honorifics you can add 입니다 to the end of the word .

you can also say : 굿모닝 (Good Morning ) and a lot of koreans use it instead of 좋은 아침

4- Good Night :
안녕히 주무세요 (annyeonghi jumuseyo )-

you can also use 잘자 (jalja) which means sleep well and Koreans always say it before going to bed.

5- See you later: 이따 봐 (itta bwa )

6- See you again : 또봐 (tto bwa)

7- Nice to see / meet you : 만나서 반가워 (mannaseo bangawo )

and the casual form is 반가워 (bangawo )

8- and you can say: 처음 뵙겠습니다. (cheoeum boebgessseubnida.) you usually say it when you meet someone for the first time and it also means Nice to meet you.
